In this episode of The Vital Goddess Podcast, we explore the Sagittarius Full Moon as an invitation into deeper vision, truth, spaciousness, and embodied wisdom.
What if midlife is not the end of your relevance…
but the beginning of your Oracle Era?
As women move into their Second Spring, many begin to feel a longing for something deeper:
more meaning,
more authenticity,
more alignment with their sacred work and inner truth.
But reconnecting with vision is not necessarily about thinking harder or forcing clarity.
In many ways, it’s the opposite.
This episode explores:
- the difference between productivity consciousness and spacious awareness
- how chronic urgency and mental fragmentation can disconnect us from our deeper wisdom
- why the feminine nervous system often opens through softened receptivity rather than pressure
- Uranus in Gemini and the invitation into a new relationship with the mind
- the Taoist perspective of the Three Treasures: Eros, Love & Spirit
- the Crystal Palace as an inner sanctuary of spacious perception and visionary awareness
You’ll also be guided through a gentle Three Treasures Meditation — an embodied vision quest through the womb, heart, and Crystal Palace designed to help restore connection with your body, intuition, imagination, and inner knowing.

This is not about activating something outside yourself…
It’s about creating enough spaciousness to hear the wisdom that has been there all along.
The voice beneath the din.
With love,

These are no ordinary times. And you, my friend, are no ordinary woman. The feminine is rising. And a new way of being human is emerging on the planet. It's time for a return to the body. Where truth lives, pleasure flows, and love leads the way. Hello, beautiful soul, and welcome to the Vital Goddess Podcast. This is a space for what I call the Venusian Revolution, a return to the body, where truth lives, pleasure flows, and love leads the way. Here we explore what it means to live as a woman who is rooted in her truth, guided by her pleasure, and led by love. And for many women, midlife becomes a powerful threshold for this journey. A moment when something deeper begins to call her forward. The path of the feminine is rooted in the temple of the body. Here we root to rise. Embodiment is the reclamation. Welcome to the Venusian Revolution. I'm your host, Diane Shepard, and I'm so glad you're here. And if you are brand new, maybe just found the show and you're tuning in for the first time, well, I'm thrilled you're here. I'm over the moon. We're going to be talking about the moon in this episode. And I'm really, again, happy to have you here giving it a try. And I hope it served you. I hope you find something here that you are looking for, something to support you on your journey. So welcome, one and all. So in today's episode, I want to dive into the topic of reconnecting to your purpose at midlife, entering into your oracle era. And this is inspired by or brought to you by, you could say, our upcoming Sagittarius full moon happening on May 31st. This is a full moon connected with vision, with truth, with expansion, wisdom, and possibility. And I've been really breathing this one in. I think it's so relevant for so many of the women in my world. And as we navigate our third chapter, some women are just starting this journey, just going through the beginnings of midlife and menopause. And some of you are well within their third chapter. But what I see with women, again, who are really interested in thriving in their third chapter. They're really interested in this idea of this Taoist perspective that I really embrace in my work called Second Spring. It's considered to be one of the most powerful, the most powerful chapter in a woman's life. And the second spring is a sensual, sexual, and spiritual rebirth. Such a beautiful contrast to what we often get handed in the Western world on what it means to, you know, move into again our wisdom years, if you will. But what I find to be true with every woman, really, that I've encountered through this work is that, yeah, there's a desire to really connect with their feminine essence in a deeper way, with their sensuality, um, with their body, really heal their body and have that deeper relationship with their body and sexuality as well as part of that. But what I often see, or maybe always see, actually, is this passion, right? This passion to take a deeper dive into their own sacred work. And that might be a different iteration of something they've been doing all along or something completely different. And it's an exciting time, I believe, for so many women, really exciting time where they can really get in touch with their vision in a more powerful way with less distraction. And again, that passion comes up and really wanting to align with their purpose, their sacred work in a more authentic way, a more powerful way, and you know, really leave their own legacy in any way that makes sense to them, right? We're all so different. But I do see this universal passion arising as women um enter into their second spring. And it's really exciting. So I feel that this episode will be really supportive if you feel like that speaks to you. And I think this full moon will be very supportive as well. Again, it's all about vision, truth, and really connecting to um that part of us, what's true for us, our authenticity. So yeah, I'm feeling the aliveness of this one for sure. And I think that so many women arrive at midlife not even realizing that they're standing at this incredibly sacred threshold, right? A place where something old is coming to a completion and something new is beginning to call them forward. And it can look like things are completely falling apart. I think quite often people equate this period of life, especially menopause, as a phoenix era of like rising from the ashes for sure. And that could be part of the process. But what I want to really hone in on is I think the deeper essence of that is really you moving into your oracle era, really aligning with your purpose in ways that perhaps you haven't done yet, and you're ready now. And you're you're like, okay, I'm ready for that clarity. I'm ready to align with my vision. I want to bring my essence into the world. So I see that a lot, this longing, again, this passion that it can even look like a restlessness, you know, of women knowing that something, you know, something more wants to express through her. And this doesn't mean it has to be work that you necessarily get paid for, like a career. It can take so many different forms. But yet I've seen this pretty much universal in the women that I've worked with, that there's something stirring in them. They either want to expand on what they're already involved in in terms of their sacred work, or they want to really start a whole new expression. There's this deep desire to reconnect with purpose, but not through the old paradigm of pushing and striving and performing and achieving and, you know, that kind of figuring it out state of mind. What so many women I think are really craving is a deeper clarity, right? And this is what your oracle era is all about: a more soulful vision, a felt sense of inner direction, your sacred work. So many women at this stage of life are really craving access to the deeper wisdom that they they know is there, they know it lives within them and it has been there all along. But it's like this um longing to really, really connect with it and hear it on a much deeper level and live it. And this is the beginnings of your oracle era. So the next time someone makes you feel like you're being put out to pasture or something like that, I invite you to take a deep breath and laugh because it's completely ridiculous. Yeah, I think so many women um, you know, step into this chapter of life and the old identities are starting to loosen, maybe sometimes crumble, they don't make sense anymore. And the roles that once perhaps even defined us being a caregiver, achiever, a helper, a performer, they just start to feel really different. They don't fit in the same way. And it's like we're we're growing into a whole new version of ourselves. And underneath all of that, there's this deeper question emerging, I find, like, who am I becoming now? What actually matters most to me? Like, what do I most care about? And what wants to be expressed through me in this next season of life? And there's just such a uniqueness to that for each of us. And that's such a beautiful thing. And Sagittarius energy is so beautiful for this because at its heart, Sagittarius is not just about adventure or optimism. That could be a fun part of Sagittarian energy for sure. On a deeper level, it's about meaning, it's about vision, it's about our own personal philosophy and values, our truth, and that quest for the deeper wisdom. And interestingly, this full moon arrives alongside a powerful Uranian influence. The planet Uranus, the planet of revolution, just freshly moved into Gemini and its conjunctive sun under this moon, so making it very active under this lunation. And as I've been feeling into this shift in energy of Uranus moving into the sign of Gemini, what keeps coming up for me is the idea that perhaps we're being invited into a revolution in how we relate to the mind itself, moving beyond just thinking and analyzing and consuming more information and exploring deeper dimensions of awareness that modern life has often left undernourished and dismissed, right? So we're talking about the intuitive mind, the spacious mind, the receptive mind, the visionary mind, right? Your oracle mind, the parts of us that become more accessible when we soften out of the chronic urgency and stress that many of us get caught up in and allow ourselves to kind of exhale into a wider space, creating more space is what we're talking about in the body and in the mind. And I think many of us have been conditioned to live almost entirely inside of productivity consciousness, constantly solving problems, managing, optimizing, and again responding. And when we remain there continuously, we can begin to really lose contact with the deeper pulse of connecting with our bodies for sure, but also the more spacious dimensions of ourselves, the intuitive self, the visionary self, the oracle self. And I think it's important to remember that reconnecting with vision is not about thinking harder, trying harder, or forcing ourselves into clarity. In many ways, it's the opposite because the feminine nervous system opens in the opposite direction, not through increased force or pressure, but through softened receptivity, not through tightening and trying harder, but through, again, inviting in more spaciousness. And definitely not through overanalyzing, but through getting into a relationship with ourselves. And what I love about this perspective is that it doesn't reject our intelligence or our thinking. We need that. That's a really important part of us. But it recognizes that sacred vision emerges from a deeper layer than the analytical problem-solving mind. I think one of the most powerful things we can do really is to create more space, more spaciousness to hear ourselves again, to soften, to receive, to be able to hear the wisdom that's always there, just waiting beneath all that noise. I just love this concept of the second spring as a rebirth of a sensual, sexual, and spiritual rebirth. And I also like to think of it as kind of a spring cleaning of our minds, of the mental clutter, and really letting go of some of the chronic urgency and releasing identities that we've taken on that don't fit anymore, expectations that are just putting so much pressure on us. And, you know, really getting more in rhythm with the natural rhythm that feels good to our feminine bodies and that feels more aligned. So, yes, this oracle era, it's about accessing something really precious, your wisdom, your vision, and your inner knowing and your sensuality definitely has a lot to do with that as well. This body intelligence connected to the mind. It's a deeper truth that has just been crowded out by modern life, really hard to hear. And the more we just stay in that analytical mind, the less we can hear it, right? So maybe this season of life is really inviting us in to again create more spaciousness for what is already true and is ready to emerge in a whole new exciting way. So in the Taoist practices, there's a beautiful understanding of what we call the three treasures, your essence, your love, and your spirit. Or a more Venusian take on that, which I love, is eros, love, and spirit. And these treasures of yours are reflected in what's called the Dantians of the body, the three Dantians, the lower Dantian or the womb space connected with vitality, grounding, sensuality, eros, embodied presence. The middle Dantian is more the heart space, the love connected with love, compassion, relationship, emotional wisdom, emotional intelligence. And the upper Dantian, sometimes called the Crystal Palace, which is connected with that spacious awareness, intuition, vision, and spirit. And they are by design meant to work in harmony. And in the Western world, we almost always are cut off from the wisdom of the body, right? There's so much emphasis of focusing more on the clarity of the mind without integrating the body. And what I love so much about the Taoist practices is that we are never trying to escape up and out, up and out of the body. We remain rooted in the body, connected with the womb and the heart, even as our awareness rises towards the crystal palace. Your wisdom is not separate from embodiment. Vision becomes sustainable when it's rooted in your body. And I feel this practice that I'll share with you today is less about activating something. It's more about entering into relationship with your own three treasures and getting that sense of starting to harmonize them, right? They get to coexist. So that includes, of course, your crystal palace. It's a beautiful, spacious place within you that you can return to, an inner sanctum of the crystalline mind, a place beyond the urgency and mental noise of the analytical mind, and a place of deep listening, of soft awareness, and again, spacious perception. So perhaps under this Sagittarius full moon, we're being invited not to think our way into clarity, but to soften enough to receive the clarity that is uniquely ours. So what I'd love to do now is to guide you through an embodied vision quest through your three treasures and spend a little extra time with your Crystal Palace. So let's dive in and see what unfolds. Welcome, my love, to the Three Treasures Meditation, an embodied vision quest to awaken the radiance and the wisdom of your body. So find a comfortable seat and clear some space for your base by reaching down and urging your sits bones, the bones you sit on east to west, and settling in. I invite you to take a hand to your lower belly or the womb space. Now, if the physical womb is absent, no worries. We're working with the energy center here. And feeling the warmth of your own hand on your body, inviting in softness, receptivity. As you begin to breathe in through your nose, exhale through your nose or mouth, allowing your breath to move your hand, inviting your breath into the womb space. Awakening arrows. And as you breathe, find a rhythm that feels good, that feels right. As you begin to notice any texture, sensation, emotion. Inviting your awareness and breath into this space now, into your heart and your breath, feeling the warmth of your own hand on your body, inviting in softness, receptivity. As you breathe in and out, awakening love. And as you breathe, noticing any texture, sensation, emotion. And imagine a large, beautiful crystal. And breathing in to that crystal, your crystal palace. Feeling that crystal growing brighter, more radiant as you breathe in, and receding slightly as you breathe out, awakening spirit. Beautiful. Let's spend a little time harmonizing your three treasures now. So breathing in to your crystal palace spirit and exhale. Breathing in again to the heart space, your love, and exhale. And breathing into the womb space, your arrows, and exhale. And again, arrows. Love. Spirit. Spirit. Love and arrows. And feeling your wisdom gathering in your womb space. And smiling deeply into your womb. Beautiful. I am always amazed at the simple potency of that practice. I use it often whenever I feel overwhelmed, anxious, have to make a decision. I feel like I'm getting pulled in a lot of different directions. If I could take some time again, coming into my body in that way, connecting to my three. Treasures and the Crystal Palace, it's incredible how it can really clear things for me where I can really feel into my truth in a more powerful way, connect with my intuition more easily and readily, and even my imagination. You know, this part of us, our Crystal Palace, it is that magical, mystical part of our brain that has a lot to do with our imagination as well, which is one of our most powerful functions of the brain. As one of my favorite astrologers, Caroline W. Casey, says, imagination lays the tracks for the reality train. So you'll find a downloadable version of that meditation in the show notes, and you can return to it anytime you need. And I'd love to hear how it lands for you. Thank you so much for being here and have a beautiful full moon in Sagittarius. Take care. Thank you, my love, for joining me in today's episode. And if something true stirred within you, that's the wisdom of your feminine speaking. Lean into that, trust that. And until next time, soften, breathe, and let love leading.
